Welcome to the new Christogenea Archive

Back in 2014, when William Finck created a new version of his main website, Christogenea.org, employing Drupal 7, he left behind several years of older content, which mainly consisted of most of the several hundred podcasts he had done with Eli James from December, 2008 through January, 2011. Some of those podcasts, including the first six segments of a Revelation commentary which Finck finished alone, were moved to the new Christogenea website.

(This post is dated for January 2010, which is when the original Drupal 6 version of Christogenea was created. In 2009 it was a custom coded theme incorporating a mix of plain HTML and Wordpress.)

Wanting to preserve the record of these podcasts, the old site was moved to this archive subdomain, where it sat with the old Drupal 6 software until now. But after so many years, Drupal 6 has become quite tedious to support, requiring the maintenance of a lot of old technology on an old server, so now we have moved all of the old content to this new website. This new website is based on the same new technology that is found at what we fondly call Christogenea 3.0 at the main site and other Christogenea projects, and while nothing which man creates is timeless, we hope that this will be more durable.
